The Location…

All Saints Church
Nearby Laleham Village is a riverside community with many fine properties built in the 18th and 19th centuries and situated in an area of great historical interest. All Saints’ Church in the village is believed to stand on the site of a former Roman temple and has pillars and arches dating back to the 12th century. The 3rd Earl of Lucan, who commanded the Heavy Brigade of cavalry at Balaclava, lies in the churchyard. The former Laleham Abbey, originally known as Laleham House, was built between 1803 and 1806 for the Earl of Lucan, the first Lucan to own Ferry House. When the Lucan family left the village, they donated the 70 acres of abbey grounds for public use. Today this land is Laleham Park. For leisure time the locality sports a choice selection of pubs and restaurants. The oldest public house in Laleham is The Three Horseshoes on the Shepperton Road. It dates back to the mid-17th century, adding to the area’s historical appeal.

The Three Bells
The Opportunity…
Ferry House offers a rare opportunity to own a substantial family riverside home of the highest quality and specification, designed and constructed to assure total peace of mind, yet with the genuine tranquillity of riverside living. The house is on the far riverbank close to Laleham Village It is a spectacular new Surrey riverside residence of a bespoke classic design showing influences from the Edwardian period.

It overlooks both the village and the popular Laleham golf course, and enjoys panoramic views over the River Thames. The house stands in carefully designed and crafted landscaped grounds fronting the river, and there is an eleven-metre pontoon mooring.

This family home is designed over three floors and offers a balanced combination of open-plan living and more intimate areas such as the living room, a study and the master bedroom suite. The five double-sized bedrooms enjoying a combination of four luxury bathrooms and ensuite facilities go to make up a superior standard of accommodation.

Laleham Park
The design features include a first-floor conservatory, a substantial garden terrace and galleried landings. The entire second floor benefits from four large glass lantern-style roof lights, giving all the rooms and landing an open feeling and bathing them in additional light.

The ultimate in modern living is enhanced by many features – a hand-crafted bespoke designer kitchen, a multi-zoned warm water underfloor heating and pressurised hot water system, an integrated fully functional audio-visual system including two wall-mounted plasma televisions with high-quality surround sound, automated entrance gates, CCTV and a sophisticated security system.

Ferry House is a total lifestyle. You can soak up the spectacular views from throughout the property, enjoy a barbecue on the raised rear terrace, and play a round of golf, followed perhaps by lunch at the Three Horseshoes across the river. Or maybe the family would like to visit Thorpe Park. Or how about a leisurely cruise up to Hampton Court Palace and a spot of shopping? With so much on your doorstep the choice is difficult to make.
